'Avengers' Mondo Poster Series announce the release of FINAL poster - The Avengers by Tyler Stout!!!

Mondo the Alamo Drafthouse's collectible art boutique has FINALLY announced the release of the last poster in the series... The Avengers by Tyler Stout!!!  Mondo has increased the edition size and price but be warned it will still sell out pretty fast. 

Hopefully the larger edition size will prevent the mysterious vanishing act from the cart that has happened to many disappointed "would be" buyers of the last six posters released.  If you plan on trying for this poster I would recommend registering on their website prior to purchasing and make sure you are logged in.  Then get the fastest connection you can find, have your payment information ready and of course F5 constantly!  Good luck!!!

'Avengers' Mondo Poster Series announce the release of THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, HULK and IRON MAN posters!!!

Mondo the Alamo Drafthouse's collectible art boutique has FINALLY released the dates, edition size and images of more posters for the Avengers series!!!  But be warned the previous two posters (Black Widow and Hawkeye) lasted on a few seconds on the Mondo website before being sold out. 

Mondo has released the poster information for Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man on different websites which I will list.  If you plan on trying for one of these posters make sure you have a fast connection and your payment information ready and of course F5 constantly!  Good luck!!! 

Wired.com released the information for the Captain America poster here is the introduction and details:

'Avengers' Mondo Poster Series set to be released!!!

Mondo the Alamo Drafthouse's collectible art boutique will be releasing a series of seven commissioned posters in honor of "The Avengers."

The first two posters that will be released are the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

For Black Widow, Mondo got famed designer Olly Moss to create the minimalist poster. The striking red-black-and-white print features a profile of Johansson's face, with her red lips replaced with a gun. The tag line reads: "From Russia with Gun," a play on both the famed James Bond movie as well as Widow's origins. Moss has previously designed artwork for "Star Wars," "There Will Be Blood" and Marvel films "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger."

The Hawkeye poster was designed by Tom Whalen and features Hawkeye with his familiar bow.

Mondo -- which "focuses on bringing art back to movie posters" by working with noted artists -- recently opened a gallery space in Austin, TX. The posters are limited editions; 320 Black Widow prints were created, while Hawkeye only has 220. They go on sale on April 19 and 20, respectively.
